A little preview of the next tree coming into the scene. If anybody has any idea how to make a crapload of planks that don't look the same (that is some randomness in it check the other pics) please tell me. And no, I don't mean duplicating them. =P

Hi Mad, thank you very much =D I appreciate it a lot coming from such an awesome artist like you! I haven't finished it yet though, it's been in cold storage for a while hehe, but now I have a sweet new computer and will get working on it soon again =) as for the planks, yeah I could do something like alphamapping or just make it a solid piece but that way I would lose a lot of detail in it, well maybe can try normal mapping....
We'll see^^

Really? Awesome! yeah it's a great industry to work in the only problem is getting in it lol. Most companies ask for x amount of years of experience, a tripple A gametitle you worked on etc etc etc etc. You do it on a proffesional level I'm guessing =P You have any tips on how a starting game designer can get into the business?:P

Yeah, back here in Copenhagen. Was working on the Hitman Games and the Original Kane N Lynch for IO Interactive:) Aye, the requements are quite high. But most of the established studios are mostly looking for guys with alot of experience. But fresh blood, creativity and ideas is always welcome. Dont hesitate mailin in that portfolie to the studios even if their job describtions are saying they are hirering people with X amount of tripple A experience. Its all about the presentation in your portfolie, get it up to date and interesting to look in ;)

Thanks for the motivating peptalk =P Currently my sister is helping me shape up something that has to resemble a portfolio =P She is going to help me getting an internship at Ninja Theory. Really hope I am going to get it. Lately I am just looking more and more forward in getting a job in the gaming industry. I really hope i'll get there. Ofcourse I need to start focussing a lot more on my models cause when I look at some of my old ones I am like "OMG WHAT WAS I THINKING?!?!" xD
I should start scrolling through my old works and select a few that I want to redo =)
